Education That Adapts. Futures That Last.
A free, public hybrid charter school (grades 6–12) coming to Pickens, GA — serving students from Bartow, Cherokee, Gilmer, Gordon, and Pickens counties — where students explore career pathways and prepare for future-ready opportunities.
Who We Are
North Georgia Career Academy is a new charter school petitioning to open in the Fall of 2027 with 6th and 9th grades.
We are building a school that blends in-person and online learning, giving students the flexibility to thrive academically while exploring career and technical pathways that prepare them for college, careers, or both.
Our mission is to inspire confident, career-ready graduates equipped to lead, adapt, and thrive in any path they choose.
A 21st Century Learning Model
At North Georgia Career Academy, students learn in a flexible hybrid model — attending in-person classes three days a week and engaging in online learning two days a week. The online experience mirrors today’s modern workforce, where flexibility and self-direction are key.
How it Works
